Our luxury Safari Lodge comes complete with kitchen, dining area/lounge and patio, sleeps 6 with Double and Twin bedrooms, together with an en-suite shower room and separate washroom.
Our two wooden pods were built by local craftsmen and sleep 2 adults and 2 kids. They come with a shower/toilet and a veranda with BBQ.
Children and babies are welcome and we provide a travel cot and highchair.
Dogs are also welcome at a £25 per dog supplement .

What’s Included
We provide all the essentials from luxury bed linen to bath towels, crockery and a cooking stove. We also have a comprehensive package of leaflets for local amenities and attractions.

Parking available for 2 cars at designated car park nearby.

Here are some FAQs to help answer any queries or questions you might have. If you require any additional help please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Do you accept pets?
We welcome up to two well behaved dogs at Darnells if you are staying in either the safari lodge or Forest View Pod. It will be your responsibility to clear up after your dog and please don’t leave them unattended in the accommodation units.
How do we order a hamper?
You can order via e-mail before you visit, or up to 3pm the night before in the reception.
Are towels provided?
All towels and bedding are provided.
Is all accommodation non-smoking?
Yes.
Is there a cot/highchair?
Yes, please request it as part of the booking.
How far is Darnells from local amenities?
It’s 1 mile to Gorsley Community Shop, but check out our Things To Do for some of the more entertaining and fun things to do.
Is there broadband/Wi-Fi on site?
The wifi signal is weak on site at the moment, however we are looking into installing a booster to amplify it as much as possible .
Do you provide facilities for washing/drying clothes?
You will have clothes airier in each unit but we don’t have a washing machine (but can help you out in an emergency!).
Can I drive to the lodge and unpack the car?
Our car park is a short distance to the Safari Lodge and Pods. You will carry your luggage to your accommodation unit. We designed the site this way to ensure that children can run around free without having to worry about vehicles coming through at any point.
When can I check In and Out?
Check in is from 4 pm and we will try to ensure that lodges are ready but occasionally it is not possible due to us finding a very dirty lodge!
You may be able to access your lodge early if it is ready – BUT please text to check before arriving (as it may not always be possible due to the time needed to make the lodges beautiful again for each new set of guests). If you do not get a reply we are probably still hard at work! We may need to direct you to a lovely place to visit for the afternoon if you are too early!
Check out is by 10 am on your departure day – please do try to depart promptly and leave the lodges in a clean and tidy state. We will total up your spend in the honesty shop the evening before and contact you with the total amount payable. Please pay before you leave.
